So you’ve been given the task to find an amazing band for your awards evening. Xcaliber are one of Londons best party bands that have lots of experience performing for large companies at awards evenings and corporate parties.

A Typical Awards Evening Schedule 

Here is a typical schedule you can expect from an awards evening. Xcaliber are very flexible on the night so if timings run over it’s absolutely fine and we can accommodate.

• 4pm band arrival/ sound check

• 6pm band finishes set up/soundcheck 

• 7:00pm – awards welcome reception

• 7:20pm – doors to open & guests to take seats

• 7:40pm – kick off & awards welcome (5 mins)

• 7:45pm – starters to be served

• 8:00pm – staff to clear starters plates

• 8:05pm – awards (12 mins) 3 x stings

• 8:20pm – mains to be served

• 8:50pm – staff to clear mains plates

• 8:55pm – awards (12 mins)  3 x stings

• 9:05pm – desserts to be served

• 9:20pm – desserts to be cleared

• 9:25pm – award (5 mins) 1 x stings

• 9:30pm – awards closing remarks

• 9:30pm – 9:45pm – Band Break

• 9:45pm – 11:15pm – band to perform 1 x 90 minute set

• 11:15pm – DJ

• 11:30pm  – close

Xcaliber can provide stings for awardees to walk on and off stage. These range from 10 – 30 seconds depending how long the walk to the stage is.

Dinner Set 

Some clients prefer to have background DJ music during dinner, Xcaliber can also perform a lounge acoustic set during starters and mains. Here is a video of our acoustic trio in action!

How To Confirm The Booking 

Ok so you’ve decided you want to book Xcaliber (woohoo!) In order to confirm the event we require the following info. 

• Company address

• Best contact telephone number

• Full Venue Address

This will be added to a contract which will be issued via DocuSign for digital signature.  We will also issue a BACS invoice for a deposit if the event it is over a month away.

In terms of payment we accept BACS as standard but if the booking is less than a month away we also accept credit card.
