We perform for 2 x 1 hours as standard but can be flexible depending on your event schedule. We can also offer extra playing time at an additional cost.
For the main line up we usually start later in the evening after dinner but we're flexible. We also offer an acoustic option which can perform for your ceremony, dinner or drinks reception.
Yes, we offer standard PA and lighting for events up to 150 people. For any larger events or for our “Ultimate” package we hire in a larger sound system with sound engineer and extra lighting. We can also design production packages for your event. Check out some of our production designs here which include staging.
To fully secure a booking we require a non-refundable deposit and will issue a contract agreement to be signed via digital signature (DocuSign). The deposit must be made within 7 days of verbally confirming the booking. Once the deposit and contract is received the booking will be 100% confirmed.
In the event of a cancellation the deposit will kept as part payment. Cancellations made within 60 days of the event date the full fee will be payable unless force majeure applies. Cancellations made within 120 days of the event date 50% of the total fee will be payable.

Weddings and events can take months and years to plan, so it's so important that everything is organised to the highest standard.

We require a minimum of 90 minutes to set up and soundcheck from arrival the venue.
We would recommend hiring in a stage if possible as having the band above the audience provides a great atmosphere, however it is not a deal breaker as we have played on the same level as audiences many times. Here are our stage sizes below for each line up.

Absolutely no problem to book add-ons at a later date. We'd highly recommend booking the band line up you’d like to go for when you make the initial booking. Saxophone players and male singers are currently in high demand so we'd advise booking your preferred band line up as soon as possible.
2 x 13 amp sockets (Standard UK plugs) minimum. If running a generator for our PA system, we kindly request 10Kw dedicated power supply for the stage area with a minimum of 4 x double outlets on two separate circuits.
We kindly ask clients to provide a hot meal and soft drinks for Xcaliber. Alternatively we offer a rider buyout so the band can source there own food/drink for your event. Please provide a suitable changing area for the band where empty cases can also be stored.
Yes
We've worked with lots of different venues with sound limiters over the years. Some venues are absolutely no problem but some are not suited for a live band and they will happily not tell you. Please find out from your venue if they have a sound limiter one before confirming Xcaliber for your event. Alternatively we can get in touch with the venue to double check noise restrictions.
Feel free to send over your top 10 LIKES and any DISLIKES before your event. We will incorporate as many of your LIKES into our set list as possible as we have a set formula that gets guests on the dance floor. Here is a couple of our audio samples
Yes we can learn your first dance no problem as long as we know at least 2 weeks before your event date.
Yes we provide Spotify party playlists as standard. Feel free to send over your Spotify playlists before your event and we can put those on in between our band sets.
Yes we can offer a band member manned DJ where one of us will be on hand to take requests in between band performances. If you would like a professional DJ and DJ booth, we have some great contacts that we work alongside regularly.
Xcaliber have substitute performers know as “deps” on call to cover all eventualities should the need arise due to illness or unforeseen circumstances. We only work with the best and most trusted musicians in the industry so we will always make sure your event goes off without a hitch. THE SHOW MUST GO ON!

Parking is required for all band and production vehicles local to your event venue at no cost to Xcaliber. If your venue doesn't have suitable parking please let us know before confirming your booking.
Yes we can perform out doors but we require the performance space to be undercover incase of rain or hot sun to protect our equipment and band members.
We travel throughout the UK and Internationally depending on visa approval.
